Arrival

After 24 "hours" I arrived at Sheremyetovo airport yesterday. My driver was stuck in a traffic jam so I had to wait around about 20 minutes or so. However the consolation was that I did not have to wait for my bags, they were about the first ones on the conveyor. I also met a nice woman on the plain with whom I was able to visit. I was taken to my apartment on the northeast side of Moscow and met my roomate and got situated. (I will post photos once I find a wireless connection). Today, Thursday, I was met in the morning by a teacher and shown around to the different offices and had my documents taken care of. That's all for now...

Departure

After much ado, gatherings, farewells and anxious waiting I will be flying from O'hare today at 5:25 pm Central Time and arriving in Moscow Wednesday at 4:20 pm local time.
