12.09.07: Once again went in early to find stuff for lessons. I found a few things and thought I had some good activities; even asked one of the trainer’s about it and she said it was great. However, the lesson did not turn out so well. I’m very bad at giving instructions and that was the start of the problem. It went on to the fact that I never really explained what I was trying to teach to them - it ended up being just several random activities which they didn’t really do as was supposed to be done. After I failed to explain the difference between “every” and “all” I basically gave up and rumbled through randomness. Right after class I went to the resource center to find things for my next lesson; they, however, close at 8 so I only had about half an hour to look. I did find several things which if I teach them correctly should last for 45 minutes. Tomorrow we have the Pre-Intermediate class which has been the worst class to teach as it is very difficult to get them to talk. One slightly good thing about tonight’s class was that they actually talked quite a bit; too much a lot of the time. Two more days of training and I’m supposed to be actually teaching everyday...

Having come in early, once again, I found out that we are changing our teaching groups today and our lessons. I will have the Intermediate class that, so far, went the best. Also we will have some extra time during the day to prepare and with extra help. (It looks like they can see that we're struggling...)
